Jonthan Lister
COO of Vidyard
Jonathan Lister is currently COO, Vidyard, a video platform for sales and marketing. He’s also an investor, advisor, and board member at various companies in Canada and the US. Previously, he spent almost 12 years as an executive at LinkedIn in Canadian and global roles. Most recently, he was the Vice President, Global Sales Solutions. During his tenure at LinkedIn, Jonathan built deep go-to-market expertise while building and growing multiple billion-dollar SaaS and media businesses. Prior to his tenure at LinkedIn, Jonathan worked as Country Manager at Google Canada. Over the course of his career, he has held several executive positions, including roles at AOL, where he was the Senior Vice President of Operations at AOL Europe. He was also the General Manager and Senior Vice President of AOL Canada. Jonathan is a founding Power Circle member at Rotman’s Institute for Gender and the Economy (GATE) and a member of the Rotman Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Toronto. He is also a Founding Volunteer at the Ted Rogers Sales Leadership Program and has published multiple academic articles on sales effectiveness and modern selling. Jonathan holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Literature from the University of Toronto, where he graduated With Distinction.
