Previously, Chris was the Founder & CEO of Unata, an eCommerce company that was acquired in 2018 by Instacart. Chris is an active donor to a series of animal welfare NGO's, a startup mentor to other alt-protein companies, and a proud member of the Founder’s Pledge.
Vasu Nadella
CEO & Co-Founder at Vital Biosciences
As the CEO of Vital Biosciences, Vasu Nadella oversees the vision and strategic direction of the company. Prior to starting Vital, he co-founded a machine-learning based personalization start-up which was acquired in 2018. Inovia Capital recruited Vasu where he was an entrepreneur-in-residence, focused on supporting founders in healthcare, artificial intelligence, and life sciences. In 2019, Vasu co-founded Vital. He leads a team of scientists, engineers, and diagnostics executives building the next-generation of tools and services that will enable the future of care.
Kazi Ahmed
CFO & Co-Founder at Carbon 6
Kazi is a serial entrepreneur with a global perspective, having roots in Bangladesh and Thailand before settling in Toronto with his wife and two children. He's founded three successful ventures in three different fields, including Betterfrost, a clean-tech company born from his engineering work at Dartmouth, and a healthcare company that was acquired in 2021. Kazi now leads Carbon6, a rapidly growing software startup empowering Amazon merchants. In just three years since it started, Carbon6 has grown to over 130 employees, thousands of customers, and billions in GMV flowing through its platform.
