Maggie Adhami-Boynton is a 15-year startup veteran, Harvard Master’s graduate, and founder of ShopThing, one of North America’s first live video commerce platforms. Hailed the next evolution in e-commerce by Deloitte, live video commerce leverages the power of live-streaming, influencers and top-tier brands to sell online. Since ShopThing’s soft launch in 2019, Maggie has hired world-class product and technology teams and amassed a base of over 250,000 customers. There are no plans of slowing down. Prior to founding ShopThing, Maggie helped scale one of Canada’s most awarded mobile app agencies, Plastic Mobile, as Vice President of Operations. She became a member of the Havas Worldwide executive team following their acquisition of Plastic Mobile in 2015.

Samir Zabaneh

Samir Zabaneh is a seasoned financial and operations executive with private and public companies. Samir has held various executive roles, including CFO and COO, in large global fintech companies including Fiserv Inc. (previously First Data), Global Payments (previously Heartland Payments) and Moneris Solutions, during which time he executed various successful strategies related to vertical specific software solutions integrated with payments processing. Earlier in his career, Samir held various leadership roles at Fortress Investment Group, Q9 Networks and Newcourt Capital.
