Global Head of Fixed Income Electronic Trading Technology & Operations & Technology Toronto Lead and Site President at Citi

Ian Ng is the lead for Citi’s Canadian Operations and Technology teams as well as the Global Head of Fixed Income Electronic Trading Technology. He is responsible for the delivery and architecture of critical, real-time systems supporting Citi’s Markets business. He has also been instrumental in the expansion of Citi’s technology footprint, launching a new lab space in downtown Toronto dedicated to Citi’s Market Technologists. Previous to this role, Ian led a development team for the award-winning CitiVelocity Single Dealer platform, an application that provides clients access to trade US Treasuries and is widely regarded as one of the top single dealer platforms on the street. Prior to his time with Citi, Ian worked with various investment banks in different locations, including Barclays Capital (London), Morgan Stanley (New York), and Bank of America Merrill Lynch (Toronto). Ian is a Computer Science, Software Engineering Option graduate from the University of Waterloo. He is a die-hard Toronto Raptors fan, season ticket holder and is always up for a game of pickup.
